The hotel is very nice, especially the wellness area which has obviously undergone some recent renovation as it is very new and modern. The staff is very friendly and the food in the restaurant is really good. There is a very large selection for the breakfast. The view over the town and the mountains from the rooftop infinite pool is really nice. Very good value for money and we were even allowed to use the spa area for free after check out which was really nice. The rooms themselves are a little bit older but very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
The room is beautiful and exceeded our expectations but the pool and hot tubs are why we booked this hotel for two nights and they are both freezing. We are from Canada and we cannot stay in the hot tub jacuzzi without our teeth chattering and goosebumps.
They look nice but they are not for the guests enjoyment. They are basically nice looking fountains.
I am disappointed with this for sure. The staff did nothing to increase the temperature and many people were dissatisfied and freezing. Just a tease really. Do not book to stay here if you plan on going in the hot tubs to relax.
Very disappointed with this hotel. My wife booked 2 nights here to relax in the hot tub and enjoy the views. Hot tubs were freezing and staff did nothing to fix the situation. We spoke to two different people and nobody seemed to care. Looking at reviews from a few months ago and people had the same complaints. Would not stay here again.

A nice hotel with friendly staff from Croatia, located next to the ski resort. The hotel has a really rich breakfast and a modest dinner according to Slovenian standards. The hotel has wonderful saunas and 2 pools with cold water. I really don't know why they have cold water in the winter in the two large pools, which are therefore empty, because then everyone is crowded in the two jacuzzis, which luckily have warm water.
Great location but dated and soulless. The food is ok and the sauna could be great but it’s weird with swimsuits required. The staff is hard working but it all feels like there’s no pride. It’s not family run & you can definitely tell.
Amazing views, had an apartment which is pretty nice. The apartment is a 3min walk from the hotel and you need to walk up a steep path. The pool area is amazing.it has a cart that can take you closer to town.
Negatives: we stayed 3nights in the apartment and we had no vleaning service while we were there. I dont mind it so much but it is wierd for a hotel. The reception is very outdated. Wifi could be improved- if you have important work it might be a problem. I went to the common room in the hotel which is super nice and cool and quiet but it has terrible reception.
Hotel Goldried is located at the amazing location in East Tirol in the middle of beautiful nature. The apartment is huge but the furniture outdated. The highlight is the sauna & chimney. The staff & the food is truly amazing. That was the hugest disappointment was that people were smoking and drinking while using the whirlpool which was for us as non smokers disgusting. The ashes flying and falling to the whirlpool. We were also disappointed from the sauna where swimsuit was a „must“ but many naked people ignoring this obvious rule were shameless running around. The problem was you don’t find a Hotel Manager to complain and the reception cant do anything to help.
